Eurobond
Eurobonds are long-term, usually coupon-bearing debt securities issued abroad by banks and companies within the borrowing limits set by the Capital Markets Legislation. They can be converted to cash before maturity under market conditions or pay the nominal value at maturity. Turkish government eurobonds have a maximum maturity of 30 years, while Turkish bank issuances have a maximum maturity of 10 years. Our bank intermediates purchase and sale transactions for eurobonds as an investment vehicle.
