Repo Transactions

A repo transaction involves the sale of a security with a promise to repurchase it at a specified future date, providing a return for the investor. It is a short-term investment vehicle.

Government Bonds

Government bonds are debt securities issued by national treasuries that can be converted to cash before maturity under market conditions or pay the nominal value at maturity. They can be issued as discounted or coupon-bearing. Our bank intermediates purchase and sale transactions for government bonds, which have a maximum maturity of 10 years for bonds issued by the Turkish Treasury and up to 30 years for US Treasury securities.

Corporate Bonds and Notes

Corporate bonds and notes are debt securities issued domestically by banks and companies within the borrowing limits set by the Capital Markets Legislation. They can be issued as discounted or coupon-bearing. Our bank intermediates purchase and sale transactions for these corporate issuances as an investment vehicle

Eurobond

Eurobonds are long-term, usually coupon-bearing debt securities issued abroad by banks and companies within the borrowing limits set by the Capital Markets Legislation. They can be converted to cash before maturity under market conditions or pay the nominal value at maturity. Turkish government eurobonds have a maximum maturity of 30 years, while Turkish bank issuances have a maximum maturity of 10 years. Our bank intermediates purchase and sale transactions for eurobonds as an investment vehicle.
